Toonie races are popping up all over Ontario this summer. Bill Graham hosted the latest installment at his local trails today. I have ridden and shot at these trails before but it was a long time ago. Since then, Bill and his crew have done a lot of work. Today the trails were raked clean and super buff. The guys really did a nice job. There was a good turnout, just enough to make it fun and manageable.
I showed up towards the end of practice. I shot most of it and both race runs. The course was very diverse and offered a challenge to all riders. It was nice to see familiar faces and it’s always nice to meet new riders. Ontario and World Cup fast guy, Justin Brown, even made a cameo. It’s always nice to see Juice ride. It was a really great group of guys. Most were cool enough to stick around and shoot with me for a bit afterward. We had a good time and got some great shots. I really love these sessions and hope to do more! Here are a few shots from the day.
