Shooting At The Reasbeck Trails.

I shot a race hosted by Ben Reasbeck at these trails a few weeks ago and have been trying to get a dedicated session up there ever since.  Ben and his crew have built a pretty impressive DH track  and I wanted to shoot more than what was possible during the race. Even though they have recently had snow up there, the trails were in good shape and got tacky fairly quickly.  These aren’t the kind of guys that would shy away from a wet or greasy track anyway.  Ben and I were actually hoping for a bit of rain today.

I got up there at about 11:00 and Ben was already hard at work raking the track.  The guy is committed – probably why I am willing to drive 2 hours to shoot with him.  When riders are stoked, I’m stoked. Taylor, Sam, Chris, Caleb and a few other dirtbags showed up to ride and cheer on their bros.

We had a decent day of shooting and I am happy with the shots.  This time of year has it’s advantages and disadvantages when it comes to getting the shots you’re after.  The guys have built an incredible rock garden and one of my goals today was to try and get a good shot of it. Here are a few selects from today.  Enjoy!

Big thanks to Ben, Taylor, Chris, Sam, Caleb and all the other riders who came out to shoot!  Good times!  Looking forward to getting up again!
