I was invited by Ben Reasbeck to a little race on some private trails he has built at a secret location. Ben has build some incredible trails, possibly some of the best in the province. Ben and I have been speaking back and forth for some time about trying to get up there for a shoot so I am glad we were able to pull it off. The fall colours are beautiful right now, maybe a week or two from their peek. I hope to get up there a few more times before the snow flies!
There was a group of about 20 riders there for the thanksgiving weekend race. It was a great group of guys and they all hiked up and down the course for several hours trying to negotiate Ben’s twisted trail. The course had a bit of everything – nice berms, a big double, a step down triple and a rock garden the likes of which is world cup worthy.
I had a great day shooting and getting to know some new riders. The race was a success and we even got a little berm session in at the end of the day. Here are some shots from the race.
Thanks to Ben and all the riders for a great day of racing and shooting. Your all aces in my book.
